In honour of national burger day, I thought I’d share my 3 favourite vegan burgers from London (and its surrounding areas). These 3 burgers are proof of how delicious and flavourful veggie burgers can be, and I’m pretty sure that by the end of this post you’ll be craving a big, delicious veggie burger (I know I am)!
1. Mildred’s Classic Burger
The classic burger from Mildred’s is without a doubt my favourite burger of all time. The burger patty contains smoked tofu, lentils and piquillo peppers, and is served in a fluffy focaccia bun with relish, rocket, red onion and tomato. It is bursting with flavour and tastes even better when accompanied by a portion of Mildred’s delicious chunky chips.
Mildred’s now has 3 locations across London: Soho, Camden & Kings Cross, so there is even more opportunity to try out one of these delicious burgers for yourself!
2. Fortify Café’s Falafel Burger
As a big fan of falafel, I am an even bigger fan of Fortify Café’s delicious falafel burger! It is served in a big wholemeal bun, with creamy mint yoghurt sauce and a huge, flavourful garden salad on the side.
Fortify Café is located in Maidstone in Kent, just outside of London, and is definitely worth a visit!
3. VBites Café’s Hickory Chick Burger
VBites Café has a huge variety of veggie burgers on their menu and I particularly love their Hickory Chick Burger. It contains smokey, glazed BBQ chicky pieces, and is served on a toasted bun with coleslaw and delicious skinny fries on the side.
VBites Café is located in the beautiful Brighton, just outside of London, meaning you can enjoy a walk along the beach after eating a delicious burger.

I would love to hear if you guys have tried any of these burgers and/or what your favourite veggie burgers are?
