Vegan Restaurants in Paris

Last Sunday Matt and I visited Paris for the day; we had so much fun hanging out in some of our favourite places in the city, as well as checking out two amazing vegan restaurants. I have always found it a little difficult to find a lot of veggie options in France, so was extremely excited when Matt did a little research and found not one but two vegan restaurants: 42 Degrés and Hank Burger. I’m so excited to share the details with you guys as they were both great in different ways and are definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in Paris.

42 Degrés

42 Degrees is a raw vegan restaurant within walking distance of Gare Du Nord, and one of my favourite places in the entire world – Mont Martre! The lunch buffet includes a green juice, a hot drink of your choice & an amazing variety of everyone’s favourite foods in raw vegan form.

Both Matt and I loved everything we tried from the buffet and went back for a second (and third) serving! Matt’s favourite was the rocket and mushroom pizza (soooo good), and I was absolutely obsessed with the mini falafel burgers in a mushroom ‘bun’ – how cool are they ▽▼▽▼▽?!

There was also a great selection of deserts; however, I unfortunately did not have the self control to take a picture of my dessert plate before wolfing down the 3 slices of chocolate cake. Needless to say, they were delicious. The lunch buffet was awesome, and I would definitely love to go back to try out the evening menu.

Hank Vegan Burger

Okay wow. Hank burgers are seriously the bomb. I’m pretty sure even the most carnivorous people would find them hard to resist. The restaurant has a really cool vibe and the menu is so varied to cater for everyones’ burger tastes.

Matt and I both decided to go for L’Allumé with chips and lots of vegan mayonnaise (which by the way was the best vegan mayonnaise I’ve tried yet) and finished off our meal with a cookie for dessert. It was all absolutely delicious; so delicious in fact that we bought six cookies to-go to eat as train snacks on the Euro Star home. That purchase definitely got us some strange looks but was so worth it! Next time I’m in Paris, I will definitely be eating at Hank Burger; whether you’re vegan or not, it is a must visit.

Have any of you had any great food in Paris? Do share, I’m always looking for great new places to check out!
