THE TIPSY BLACK SHEEP | VEGAN IN BECKENHAM

The Tipsy Black Sheep is a veggie catering company run by two lovely girls: Hayley and Ruth. They currently have a pop-up shop in Beckenham and I was so excited to have the opportunity to check it out last week.

Hayley and Ruth were so kind and welcoming, and it was really lovely to meet two people who are so genuinely passionate about what they do. Their creative menu has such a great variety of options and is so reasonably priced, meaning we definitely had a difficult time when deciding what to order.

MAINS ▷▷▷

After much deliberation, I decided to order the Red Lentil Burger with coleslaw and sweet potato chips on the side. The burger patty was bursting with flavour and was accompanied by the perfect combination of delicious toppings.

My mum ordered the Yellow Lentil Curry with green rice and was a big fan. She (reluctantly) let me try a little bit and I agreed that it was absolutely delicious.

DESSERTS ▷▷▷

Both the chilli-me-sofly chocolate brownie and the banana cake looked amazing so we decided to order them both and share. Topped with caramel sauce, they were both so sweet, delicious and moist. My mum said that they are the best vegan cakes she’s ever had, and in fact, we loved them so much that my mum decided to buy another 2 of each to take away with us!

The warm and friendly atmosphere in the shop, coupled with the amazing food makes The Tipsy Black Sheep pop-up a must visit! So, if you find yourself near Beckenham make sure to check it out – I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as we did!

Update: unfortunately the pop-up shop has now closed but The Tipsy Black Sheep still do private catering and will soon be offering a delivery service (which I’m super excited about). You can read more about that here: http://www.thetipsyblacksheep.com/catering-menu/
