As a life long animal lover, it has always been important to me that my cosmetics products be cruelty-free; and luckily there are loads of awesome brands out there that do great cruelty-free makeup and toiletries. However, when I went vegan a couple of years ago it was a little bit trickier to find brands that sold reasonably priced, great quality vegan & cruelty-free products.
Over the past couple of years I have gradually built up a collection of awesome vegan makeup products from vegan brands such as ELF Cosmetics and Arbonne, as well as cruelty-free brands that offer some vegan items such as Liz Earle, Barry M and Body Shop.
I’m still discovering new brands and products all the time and I love to hear which products everyone else swears by. So for any of you who, like me, are looking to build up a beautiful vegan makeup collection, I have filmed a What’s in my makeup bag video to show you my favourite every-day products. The video also features an exclusive 5% off discount code for my YouTube viewers that can be used on my brand new The prettiest thing you can be is cruelty-free makeup bag, as well as any other item in the Jade Green Vegan online store throughout the month of February 2017!
I hope you guys enjoy the video & I’d love to hear about your favourite brands/products in the comments!

I love Superdrug own brand items as they’re all cruelty free and the vegan items are clearly labelled. I personally don’t buy from The Body Shop as they’re owned by a company which does test on animals but I know vegans often differ on this.
Yes, I love superdrug own brand too, especially their fake tan! I believe the body shop has now been bought by a cruelty-free company so that’s awesome!!
